GETTING TO SAN PEDRO LA LAGUNA

San Pedro La Laguna is 4 hours from Guatemala City by bus, and is served by a direct road or you can cross the lake from Panajachel by boat.

Private Taxi or Shuttle from Guatemala International Airport

Private Taxi - Cost - Q600 approx $80.00 for 1 to 4 people. There is also a direct shuttle service each day from Guatemala city to San Pedro at 1pm. The cost is $25.00 per person. Shuttle or private taxi service can be arranged in advance with the school. Please email us your arrival information and we will set up the service you request.

If you arrive late at night, we recommend making a reservation in the Patricia's Guest House which is located beside the International Airport. Website: http://www.patriciashotel.com The next day you can catch the 1pm shuttle to San Pedro la Laguna.

Direct Inner Urbana buses from the center of Guatemala City are provided by three San Pedro companies: Transportes Mendez, Veloz San Pedrana and Transportes Wendy. Buses leave at 11am (Wendy), 11:30am (Mendez), 12:00pm (Pedrana), 12:30pm (Pedrana), 2:00pm (Mendez) and 4:00pm (Mendez) and pass along 20a Calle between 4a and 5a Avenida, Zona 1. The 4 hour journey to San Pedro costs 25Q (approx. $3.00).

You can also take any bus or shuttle going to Panajachel and then take a boat across the lake to San Pedro.
